Before you send a deposit on a private-label cooler bag line, there are five questions worth answering — not from a brochure, but from the floor where your order will actually be made. I’ve stood on both sides of this conversation for over two decades, and the buyers who sleep well at night are the ones who checked these first.
1. Is this a real factory, or a trading company in disguise?
A polished website tells you nothing about who owns the sewing machine. Ask for certificates and a live walk-through.
What we show: Our BSCI, GRS & Higg FEM certificates (all audited 2025) are verifiable, not claimed — you can see the amfori BSCI audit, the Intertek GRS 4.0 scope certificate, and the Higg FEM verification right below. We’re happy to hop on a video call and walk our Quanzhou floor with you — cutting tables, sewing lines, QC bench. Our founder (me, Weir) is reachable directly at weir@topsoundco.com.

2. Will mass production match the sample?
The prototype is easy. Holding that quality across a full run is the only part that matters to your customers.
What we do: Every batch ships with an AQL inspection and a pre-shipment report you can read before the container leaves. We send weekly production photo updates so there are no surprises when the goods land. If something’s off, you hear it from us first.
3. Can they build MY design, not a catalog clone?
Private label only works if the bag is unmistakably yours.
What we do: Send your artwork; we prototype from your file — shell, lining, insulation, hardware — all spec’d to your brief, and revise until you’re happy. Common build specs we work with daily:
| Component | Common option | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Shell | 600D/900D Oxford, RPET, PU leather | RPET supports a GRS claim |
| Insulation | EPE foam + aluminum foil lining | holds temperature; food-safe grade available |
| Lining | PEVA / food-grade PVC | wipe-clean, no smell |
| Hardware | SBS zipper, webbing handle | spec to your brief |
4. What if I over-commit and drown in inventory?
A high minimum turns a test into a bet on your savings.
What we do: MOQ is 500 pcs per style (single colorway) — a real market test, not a warehouse. Grow into volume when your customers tell you to.
5. Who do I call when something goes wrong?
The worst factories answer fast until the deposit clears, then vanish.
What we do: We’ve made bags since 1989. You get a direct line to the founder and a partner who treats your first run like it’s our own.

FAQ
Q: What is the MOQ for a private-label cooler bag?
A: 500 pcs per style (single colorway). Enough to test a market, small enough that you’re not betting the business.
Q: Can you use recycled material so we can claim sustainability?
A: Yes. We offer RPET / recycled PET and are GRS certified, so the claim is auditable.
Q: Do you build from our design file?
A: Yes. Send your artwork and we prototype to your spec, revising until you’re happy.
Q: Which markets do you serve?
A: Primarily brand owners, wholesalers and importers in the EU, UK, North America and the Middle East.
